Second Annual LtL Festival & Ultimate Chef's Challenge MARCH 17, 2012At the 2011 LtL Festival more than 500 folks turned out to enjoy music, games, oyster roast and Lowcountry food, the chef's challenge, and drawings for prizes. This huge success raised needed funds for our underserved Lowcountry youngsters to participate in the marvelous LtL programs. The second annual LtL Festival will be bigger and better than ever. Be there on Saturday, March 17!  A full day of fun at McConkey's Jungle Shack and the Piggly Wiggly parking lot, at the intersection of Jungle Road and Highway 174, Edisto Beach  General admission is FREE!  Continuous live music by local bands, including Edisto Gumbo, BJ the DJ, and other local musicians, from 12 Noon to 6 PM  Vendors will tempt you with Lowcountry food, snacks and beverages  A variety of arts and crafts will be for sale  Lots of educational and fun activities for adults and children  Ultimate Chef's Challenge at 2 PM will feature a cook-off between two Lowcountry chefs to create the prize-winning dishes  All-you-can-eat oyster roast at 4 PM - advance tickets are available at McConkey's & other local outlets  Drawings for door prizes will be held throughout the day  Drawing for TWO grand prizes at 6 PM - an original Lowcountry painting and a handbuilt surfboard could be yours!
