H2O Girls: Immersing Girls in Science

Collaboration with other local organizations is important to LtL's mission. By partnering with the S.C. Aquarium, we focus on inspiring young women to pursue careers in science. Our immersion program takes them to an undeveloped barrier island where they explore the ecosystem and their connection to it. This is a challenging activity and great starting point for those interested in natural science.
